EXTRA: IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE IN EXCURSIONS SUCH AS HORSEBACK RIDING OR SURFING

  • Surfing: Rash guard shirts, board shorts, and any other clothing in which you will feel comfortable.
  • Mountain Biking: If mountain biking in your free-time, please bring appropriate clothing + gear.

PHOTO SHOOT:

  • Please bring your favorite yoga outfit and a casual non-yoga outfit

GROUP PHOTO:

  • Please bring a black top + black bottom AND white top + black bottom

YOGA CLOTHES:

  • Yoga clothes that are comfortable and easy to mix with other pieces. (*No need to over-do it, we don’t mind if we see you in the same outfit.)
  • Loose-fitting and flowy pieces + easy layers that you can put on for breakfast & lunch.
  • You will find while living in Costa Rica that breathable fabrics are best – it is recommended that you bring more than tight-fitting stretchy pants and tops. Avoid bringing heavy material tops or pants. The ease of the Pura Vida lifestyle becomes the way you want to practice your yoga too.
  • Consider bringing shorts for asana practice.
  • If possible, please try to bring 2-3 of the Chakra colors so that you can align with that chakra on its specified day.
    • 1st Chakra: Red
    • 2nd Chakra: Orange
    • 3rd Chakra: Yellow
    • 4th Chakra: Green
    • 5th Chakra: Turquoise

    • 7th Chakra: Violet or White

TO CONSIDER:

  • As a practice in non-attachment (aparigraha), please consider bringing 3-4 items that you can leave behind as donations for locals.

What do I personally wear? I wear a lot of dresses, flowy pants, light fabrics.
